DICTATION AND SPELLING EXERCISE - PRACTICE FOR SPM ENGLISH






Benefit of dictation and spelling
Improve skills and competencies in pronunciation, recording, note taking, spelling and vocabulary.


dictation/dɪkˈteɪʃ(ə)n/Noun 1.the action of dictating words to be typed, written down, or recorded on tape."the dictation of letters"  2.the action of giving orders authoritatively or categorically.



In this practice for SPM Form 5 students, use the words that can be found in their text books, poems and novel or can also use the words that possibilities will use in their essay.

Step 1 : Students ready with their pen and paper.
Step 2 : Teacher need to read aloud with clear voice each of word.
Step 3 : Students share by write in front at white board or black board. Each student share 1 word accordingly by numbering.
Step 4 : Teacher check spelling and correct it if wrong.
